Absolutely no facilities

Liked: Receptionist was so lovely.
Disliked: The area is not good and I couldn't find parking and I was nervous walking to hotel on my own. The room was OK but not very clean. Leather headboard was filthy. Matress soo uncomfortable and same with pillows. After 9pm kitchen closed and you couldn't even get crisps or peanuts from the bar. Really unacceptable for any hotel. I may as well have been in a b&b. The room was for 2 people and cost €137. Breakfast was €35 extra. So almost €170 which is too much for facilities offered. No water in room. No facecloth. Definitely not a suitable area for a single female traveller or even 2 females sharing.

Okay, probably wouldn’t go again

Liked: Seemed like a nice hotel on the face of it, they are having building work done but this didn’t affect our stay. I’d read reviews saying it needed updating but I’d disagree, it was quite nice and the rooms were clean and tidy.
Disliked: We had an issue with our room, none of the plugs worked and nor did the TV. This wasn’t the issue for us though, the issue was how it was dealt with. We called to report it, (we couldn’t charge our phones for the night so couldn’t go to sleep until it was sorted) a guy came to check it out and left quite quickly to ‘sort it out’. 30 minutes passed and nothing… we called again, receptionist didn’t know anything about it, sent someone else. Another 30 minutes went by (it’s now 10:30pm and we’d quite like to go to bed). My husband had to go down to the reception after an hour to ask that they swap us rooms! Which seemed to us like something that should have been done within half hour of us waiting for power?
