Wonderful stay - perfect for...

Liked: Great experience staying at Bombina Cottages. We enjoyed a rustic experience surrounded by natural bush and wildlife. The unit we stayed in had all the necessary facilities: barbecues, washing machine, full kitchen, and utilities. Had a great feel and beautiful views.
Disliked: Nothing we did not like

Liked: A great location close to the main town centre for convenience. A lovely view of trees and bushland from the property. We enjoyed feeding the birds using the bird feeder on the balcony, as well as going for walks when we could spot the occasional rabbit and plenty of kangaroos.

Liked: Beautiful location, thoughtful touch to provide bird seed to feed the locals.
Disliked: We were enjoying nature and the rustic charm of the eco lodge. However imagine my surprise as I was enjoying a bath with my toddler and taking in the private view out of the window, I saw a man just a few metres away outside the building. I was absolutely in full view of him. It became apparent that they were conducting a survey of the grounds however these should be conducted outside of guest stays, or we should have been notified of this survey occuring so we could close the blinds in the bathroom at least. This experience really shocked me.

Liked: Brilliant, quiet location in a quirky cottage with enough facilities to be comfortable. The flowers & birds were a joy to wake up to as well as other wildlife. The view from the upstairs bedroom is great.
Disliked: Having to put food into lockable containers to protect it from local visitors was a minor hassle - just needed some discipline.

Liked: Lovely stay in nature. We stayed in eco lodge. Everything that we needed was there- kitchen was well equipped, including tea and coffee available. Washing machine in bathroom. Bedrooms\ main bed+ living area are on seperate levels and toilet is upstairs. For us it was not an issue but we were not aware that was the case. Seeds were provided for bird feeding which was a cool way to see different birds.
