Door Sweeper at Room 335

Liked: The cleaning staff were excellent. The maids and breakfast lady were very meticulous and clean. I was very pleased with my room service. The hotel appearance is nice.
Disliked: I experienced a poor communication during my stay with having a door sweeper installed. It took two days for the maintenance personnel to install a door sweeper and it made no difference. The maintenance personnel did such a poor job that the 2 inch gap under the door remained, and reduced to a 1 inch gap. I improvise during my entire stay by stuffing a towel under the door whenever in the room, and concern while out of creepy crawlies getting under the door. The gap could only be stuffed from inside the room. The front desk response was that maintenance could not close the gap due to the switching from carpet to vinyl tiles. I advised the front desk to hire new maintenance personnel. Their door sweepers are all installed on the exterior side of the doors. Please see the pictures below. All pictures are after the installation of the exterior metal sweeper. Please note that regardless of the miscommunication the staff, room service, cleanliness, and hotel overall to be good. Liked: I liked that it was warm and had a tropical feel.The staff appeared friendly but didn't understand English.
Disliked: The floors looked clean but must have been mopped with dirty water because we had to wear our shoes in the room our feet were black if we didn't. The air conditioner smelled of strong urine smell.

Disliked: Extremely noisy. There are two large warehouses next door that send out trucks all night. No soundproofing around the doors or windows so everything penetrates

Not very pleasant

Disliked: Bed very uncomfortable, lumpy and wobbly. Had to switch rooms as soon as I opened door immediately.Strong presence of mildew. My eyes immediately were itch and burning. I am highly allergic to mildew, and mold. Put in requests that I was allergic and to ensure room was mildew and mold free. Was told that rooms were renovated so that would not be an issue. Eyes immediately start burning and itching as does skin. And I will get respiratory issues that can lead to pulmonary hospitalization. That was room 123. Switched to room 327, slightly better but after cleaning scent dissipated could tell there was still a presence in that room as well. Not as bad as first. However this room had a terrible lumpy, wobbly bed, and plumbing issues in shower.
