it is a lovely place...

Liked: I would use this hotel again. it was warm and welcoming on a cold nightlovely choices of food at breakfastcomfortable bed
Disliked: cleanliness around the windows where condensation had caused mould.another bedside table and lamp would have been appreciated

Liked: Very nice location for exploring aviemore. We used it as a stopover on our way back home from a trip up north. Staff were lovely and the room was spacious and clean.
Disliked: A larger bar area would be nice, dinner was quite pricey and nothing special, £18 for steak pie, mash and steamed veg. also dessert very expensive!

Outstanding stay, highly recommend

Liked: Superb stay. Staff were so friendly, welcoming and attentive. Nothing was too much. The food was outstanding, with a generous menu with lovely dishes.

Liked: Very warm welcome throughout our stay, right down to a personalised welcoming note in our room. The breakfast has various options and is well cooked and delicious.We ate in the hotel’s restaurant. It is an award winner with an Indian flavour. The menu is short and the food beats most. It’s quite simply delicious.
Disliked: Nothing

Comfy hotel, good food and...

Liked: The staff were very friendly. The food very tasty. The roll top bath luxurious.
Disliked: Too many stairs! It was a long climb to second floor particularly with a suitcase. No offer of help.

Very comfortable room. Good breakfast...

Liked: Lovely big room with large bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast very good as was the evening meal.
Disliked: The room I was allocated was on the top floor . As I had booked in with my dog would have been better to have been on a lower floor for the night toilet trip outside. Having said that it wasn't too much of a problem as staff helpful in letting us out in the night.

Nice enough hotel but small...

Liked: The room was clean and hotel itself was nice enough
Disliked: The walls were very thin in the bedrooms, you could hear EVERYTHING that was going on in the rooms surrounding. We had a horrendous sleep due to the couple next door. The room was also very small but luckily we were only staying one night. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant which was okay, they got my order wrong for both meals so that was disappointing. Probably wouldn't go back.

Great county location, fab food,...

Liked: Food was fantastic - staff at dinner were attentive and very friendly. We really enjoyed the interaction with them. Hotel was in a beautiful location, and was very welcoming after a days exploring in the area.
Disliked: We were unlucky in that the Boiler was playing up, and there as no heating or hot water in the morning. But it didn't spoil our stay - these things happen, and we coped just fine..
