Liked: I had a great time at The Boars Head. The location is central to the town. The room was clean, tidy, warm and the bed was comfortable. The breakfasts are really good with a decent choice. I ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was amazing. I was served by a lovely lady called Natalie. She was so accommodating, friendly and pleasant. She made me feel comfortable as I am a solo traveller dining alone. She brings a great atmosphere to the restaurant. So thank you Natalie! I will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Liked: Welcoming staff. Convenient central town site with free parking.
Disliked: Dangerous (trip hazard steps on landing, stained carpets and insecure handrail) flights of stairs to top floor. Non working bedside lamps. Flaking paint on walls. Undercooked inedible, tough beef stew (when we complained, we were told we were too late as chef already left for the night! No discount for us only able to eat side vegetables.

Disliked: When we got to breakfast, thee was no seats for us so we had to wait around for a while, however there was loads of empty seating. Staff very young and not very engaging, service was slow and what we had was very poor presented, in fact had to return the toast as there was mildew on it !
