Boardwalk Inn and Suites, Daytona Beach

After a not so smooth...

Liked: Hotel and oceanfront room were both beautiful but there were some issues after checking in. First of all, our room was not ready at 4 which is check in time. Didn’t have to wait long so no big deal. When we did get to the room the tile floor was soaking wet. We were not given any notification about the wet floor and my husband had just had knee surgery and almost fell. Also, the elevator close to our room did not work and we were on the 3rd floor. We were not informed that they had valet parking so we parked in the garage parking. As we entered the room we heard beeping from inside and it was the smoke alarm…battery needed replaced. Housekeeping had just been there. And lastly the phone didn’t work so I had to use my cell phone to call front desk. I think the hotel has recently been renovated and there were still workers there. But all in all, all issues were taken care of quickly and the visit ended up very nice.

Liked: Location right on the beach
Disliked: Don’t type of breakfast some of the staff are rude. The rooms were OK. The couch was filthy with stains. The sheets had rust and mildew on them very bad designed in the shower water goes out and into the toilet area into the room because of the way they sloped the tile.

Liked: Hotel severely damaged by Hurricane. No rooms the night we arrived.

Amazing weekend stay

Liked: LOCATION! Amazing view
Disliked: With the sliding glass doors open the floor became very wet. Felt disgusting on bare feet. Fearful I'd fall The elevator broke down x3 in the 24 hrs we were there. We were on 4th floor

Booking.com charged me too much...

Liked: The staff were excellent/room clean/pool nice/ gym nice
Disliked: The construction next door loud and they start early/elevator close to me broke/too expensive
