Comfortable and ideal for our...

Liked: Beautiful room, so much nicer than your standard hotel. Very charming, great atmosphere, and very clean.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike!

Usually love but not so...

Liked: As always, I come here for the architecture and uniqueness of Blue. It's so unbelievably beautiful.
Disliked: This time, I was quite disappointed in the level of noise, especially late at night. I stayed on the 3rd floor last time and really enjoyed my stay; however, I was directly over the bar this time. It was well after midnight before I could fall asleep. My bed was vibrating from the music. Unfortunately, I barely slept at all. Also, everything seemed to be pretty clean except for one surface just under the TV. There was a milky dried substance on the glass. I cleaned it up before my visitor showed up, so I'm guessing this surface wasn't washed prior to my arrival. For the price of this room, I expected better. I will return simply for the beautiful character of this hotel. I am hoping for a better stay next time. Let's hope they can help me forget my unfortunate stay on April 5th.

After staying in shoe-box hotels...

Liked: The meals and drinks at Blue were excellent, served by attentive staff. The charming, eclectic decor of the hotel and bar were refreshing, and first rate. The hotel will be my go-to location for future trips. I really like the downtown location in heart of the harbour district. The old buildings, independent shops, and good restaurants make for a pleasant stay in the city.
Disliked: Parking downtown, particularly in the daytime is a challenge, but not the hotel's fault.

Liked: Amazing bathroom, comfy bed, good layout, great food
Disliked: Tv didn’t have the right remote at first and we took a while trying to figure it out. One of the pot lights were blinking so we had to only have the lamps on
