Liked: Excellent location! Not a long drive to Durango, but being out of the town made the stay so relaxing and enjoyable! The breakfast each morning was delicious and the dining room was beautiful. Innkeeper was kind and very helpful; gave us some ideas for local dining and day trips we wouldn’t have known about. All the staff were friendly, engaging and helpful. One day, we ordered two sack lunches from the inn (a great service!) to take on a day trip, and the sandwiches were fantastic!! We would definitely come back again!

Liked: Pretty area with peaceful walkways and a nice relaxing sitting area in front. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was very roomy and spacious and provided a beautiful area for our daughters to take pictures on the balcony while we rested. Breakfast was sweet in the spacious kitchen the next morning and we had the choice of eating in the dining room or on the patio. We would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: Our girls were hungry and after 8:30 there isn’t anywhere close to get a soda or food. If we hadn’t had a couple of snacks we wouldn’t have had anything for them. I would suggest leaving drinks and a few small snacks for guests staying here. The closest restaurants were 20-30 minutes away.
