Liked: So close to everything in the mount, but also enough to be away from the busiest tourist areas. Which meant super quiet. No traffic noise but close to main road, easy to cafes, restaurants and supermarket. Once there you can ditch the car and walk or cycle to everything Very peaceful and comfortable.

Liked: We needed a place to stay overnight before heading to our main event/main reason for being in Mount Maunganui. Our host knew we were arriving late in the evening and rang to personally let us know the setup. Classic kiwi friendly efficient thoughtful and practical. Supermarket 50m walk away was helpful too. Super kingsize bed.was comfortable. Good shower. Not fancy Just good value for money. Was what it said it would be and helpful hosts.

Liked: Room was perfect even though it wasnt modern it was clean and tidy Staff were helpful and very friendly.Courtyard outside was awesome as I had family come and visit so was suitable for young children
