We really loved our stay!...

Liked: Absolutely lovely owners! Super accommodating and welcoming even on a busy weekend!

Good old fashioned kiwi motel.

Liked: Friendly staff.Spacious living room with good quality furniture.Laundry available. Good parking.Shower had good water pressure.
Disliked: As it is close to the main highway be prepared for road noise. Earplugs are useful.

More than adequate for our...

Liked: We were more than comfortable in our unit which was roomy both in the living area and bedroom with vanity. The shower/toilet were together but were very clean and had adequate space. Great reading lights over the bedhead!

Room is fair for price,...

Liked: The room was clean and in a central location. There was parking and the room was also spacious. It was right for the money I paid for the room. The staff let the whole place down.
Disliked: The staff. This and this alone let down and ruined the whole weekend away. Walking in to see if the room was available, I was meet with such rudeness, that even my child commented on how rude the women was. To then when I was able to check in later to be meet with by someone who clearly did not want to be there or did not want us there, really turned my whole time away to have a cloud. I also had the room until 10am. At 9.50am the office lady was knocking on the door to get in and clean and I saw her look at her watch and huff. I have paid for the room until 10am!!I'm not sure if this is the standard service to expect from Blue Dolphin or if the staff were not happy about the weekend car event that was on, but then again, that's the whole reason they were booked out. It certainly was not for the reception!
