Liked: I had high expectations for this hotel due to it being a 4-star hotel with valet, new, and having nice furnishings. I'll start with the positives: room is clean and beds are comfy, food in main restaurant was good, nice lobby area and valet experience was great. Now with the not so positive: upon arrival there seemed to be confusion and the staff seemed very overwhelmed, I purchased a package and the gift wasn't in my room. After reporting it I was assured it would be brought up within an hour and it never came ....had to ask the morning staff instead. My friend had to use the business center and the printer required a pin number which the staff knew nothing about. Thankfully, they were able to print it for us. I purchased a late check out and had to confirm again with the morning staff. The phone in our room didn't work calling out, weren't able to reach room service. Was later told when it's busy, they stop receiving calls. We didn't have enough glasses in our room or towels. That was thankfully solved relatively quickly but it was very sloppily placed in our room. We were there for a job fair and happened to be during Rodeo Houston so there were a lot of loud, drunk and rowdy people which isn't their fault but they should have hired more staff so they could handle the business during Rodeo/Mardi Gras. Overall the experience was decent, but sadly didn't meet my expectations. The cherry on top is I ordered a massage and 20 minutes later received a call saying that I could not longer get one but offered a time 3 hours later after I would be checked out ...they only had 2 masseuses working the spa but I was somehow able to book it online.

Disappointing stay!

Liked: Breakfast and breakfast staff were good and efficient/friendly
Disliked: Reception unfriendly and not capable of sorting out a problem. Champagne ordered and didn’t arrive until multiple complaints. In room telephone didn’t work even after pointing it out. Room not cleaned also after asking and then saying that the staff are busy because the hotel is full….

Could have been better. Coffee...

Liked: Nice room
Disliked: The room phone was not working or hard to maneuver and went down stairs lobby and was pointed in another direction for what I needed.
