Pleasant stay in the countryside,...

Liked: Quint B&B in the Hexham countryside close to the Hadrians Wall. Meals were pleasant. Room was tight for 3 of us.
Disliked: Was an odd location in the middle of a retirement village (or close to) and a bit confusing when we first arrived.

Liked: The position, the staff and the food was excellent
Disliked: The room was a problem. At first glance it looked very nice. However: The bed was very hard and uncomfortable and the green exit light kept us awake most of the night. The shower cubicle had dirt or mould round the architrave and the shower wasn’t very good. Also, the water in both the shower and sink drained very slowly. There was no parking outside the room and one had to walk round the building to the car park.
