Perfect for a quick overnight...

Liked: Very accommodating, close to home and modern. Staff were very helpful, it was fairly priced and I loved the countywide feel to the place.
Disliked: The mattress was 2 singles together so I get falling in between and was not the comfiest. Our room was REALLY hot in the night. Minimal breakfast options and small portions but it was free with the room so I can’t complain too much.

Lovely place, enjoyed my visit...

Liked: Friendly greeting on arrival and throughout visit. Loved the sausage in the traditional breakfast!
Disliked: Room (and consequently the bed) was very cold on arrival as heating hadn't been put on. Also, it took a very long time to get any hot water…

Liked: The staff are exceptionally approachable and helpful. They provided an evening meal to meet our needs. The main meals were very good. Very welcoming atmosphere with log fires burning. Very welcoming for dogs with ample garden to meet essential needs!
Disliked: The continental breakfast was very basic.

No communication with nobody

Liked: Clean and tidy
Disliked: Nobody there before deadline checkin time, no room number allocated had to find my room with key in the door, nobody answering phone. No courtesy call to tell me my room number

A brief overnight stay prior...

Liked: A lovely property… all ground floor… great access for both humans and dogs
Disliked: A bit cold on arrival… but soon heated up on request
