Lovely heritage accommodation in the...

Liked: Lovely to stay in heritage accommodation right in the heart of Deloraine. We very much appreciated all of the tourist 'treats' in the area and the history of the accommodation and all of the extras in the room.
Disliked: bit of a concern about the step into the bathroom, perhaps a bit of coloured tape?

Beautiful Blake's Manor

Liked: Our suite was spotlessly clean and more than what we were expecting. Beautifully styled and everything we needed and more.
Disliked: Noise from the above suite is quite prominent when guests are residing there.

Like stepping back in time...

Liked: The friendly welcome on arrival, the period charm of the furnishings and the comfortable accommodation. Wonderful welcome package including homemade bread. We wanted for nothing.

Peaceful and relaxing stay

Liked: Beautiful garden. House was homely with pictures on the wall and breakfast in the fridge.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike on the property.

Amazing hosts who truly welcomed...

Liked: Loved the friendly and helpful hosts who went out of their way with advice and additional extra provisions such as fresh baked bread and hazelnuts from their garden.

Fabulous and generous hospitality

Liked: Exceptional hospitality - great breakfast goods, eg freshly baked warm bread, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, milk, juice, jam, chocolates, cheeses, biscuits, port and the facilities to cook including cooking oil - everything thought of. Grandchildren had dvds to watch, a garden to play in and there were outdoor picnic tables etc etc. we even received a gift of home-grown walnuts!Location was great for walking to restaurants.
Disliked: Nothing. It was a wonderful stay - best on our trip.

Good

Liked: We appreciated the central location in the town and also as a base for us to travel to different places. We liked the freedom to come and go as we needed. We enjoyed the welcoming food and gifts(fresh bread).The outdoor setting was a beautiful spot to enjoy wine&cheese with friends .
Disliked: Not to be too critical , but not having a window in each room . Also, not having screens on Windows meant we didn't feel comfortable opening Windows to enjoy the cool breeze . Also, there was an issue with sugar ants inside the kitchen area getting into some of our food. Was concerned about privacy for the main bedroom with just the curtain as a screen . .
