Lovely break

Liked: Really lovely hotel. Beautiful bar area/restaurant. I've stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel, amongst others in Edinburgh and I think the service at 'The Black Ivy' is a class above them all.Great food as well as service.The Christmas decorations were fabulous.
Disliked: It would have been a nice extra if there had been a comfy chair in the room - as there was plenty of space. Also, because the member of staff on 'the door' is looking after the restaurant bookings etc as well, there is no one to actually take you up to your room if you arrive at a busy time.

A gem of a hotel...

Liked: The hotel inside and outside looked spectacular all dressed up for Christmas. Every member of staff we interacted with were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

It made our city break...

Liked: Great customer service, staff really smiley and very helpful. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and a lovely atmosphere. Breakfasts were really good, as was the Sunday roast, bar snacks and cocktails!
Disliked: Saturday night was extremely loud with live music and DJ. Couldn’t sleep till it stopped after 1am. Next time we stay we will simply embrace this by joining in! We now have FOMO
