Liked: the bed was the most comfortable bed my friend and i have ever slept on. the rooms / building was beautiful and the staff was very kind. there was free ice cream, bagels, coffee, etc. the only downside was the power strip to the mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave cut out in our room while we were staying there. other than that it was a delightful stay

Decent hotel with friendly staff...

Liked: The staff at the Black Bear were all very friendly and chatty. There was Iced Tea and other drinks available in the lobby all night for us to use.

Wonderful

Liked: We loved the breakfast, the iced tea and coffee when we arrived and its wonderful location to UMaine.
Disliked: No Kleenex in room.

Liked: The location is perfect as its close to the University of Maine.
Disliked: I was not thrilled that the washer and dryers were removed. We relied on this service the last time as my son needed some clothes washed prior to moving into his dorms. To our surprise they were removed. It would be nice to have those back,
