Awesome budget hotel

Liked: Location was fantastic, city centre and very close to the tube station.
Disliked: Nothing

Good

Liked: The hotel was nice and clean, breakfast was satisfactory and the staff were nice and friendly. The hotel is situated right next to Høtorget metro station, so very easy to get anywhere in the city.
Disliked: The pillows were incredibly hard and the room was fairly noisy due do the ventilation which were not possible to control. It was especially the ventilation from the bathroom that was noisy, but it was not possible to turn it off. It was also fairly cold in the room, but the duvet was nice and warm.

Some bumps in the road...

Liked: Staff is super nice, friendly and helpful! Very clean and fresh rooms. Bathrooms are new and the rooms are pretty sound proof. Location couldn’t be any better. You are super close to City and the metro station is literally around the corner.
Disliked: The heating was broken in our room which we suspect the hotel knew about. First night was very, very cold but we got offered either a room change or a portable heater. We took the heater and then it was all good! Breakfast buffet is a bit of a mess and a bit inconsistent. Some of the things they serve are absolutely delicious and others, not so much. . Rooms were a bit pricy for the size and what they offer but we still did enjoy our stay very much and would be happy to come back!

Perfect for a one night...

Liked: Double bed rooms are spacious. Hearty breakfast.
Disliked: Single bed rooms are a bit tight.

Location suited us perfectly but...

Liked: Lots of shops and restaurants near by plus a fantastic food hall for meals a short walk away. At the end of the lane way on the main street was a metro station one stop from central and walkable distance down to the water for ferries. Location was excellent as we do not use Ubers or taxis. A good breakfast and kettle supplied in the room, which is a plus for us. and it was very quiet at night.
Disliked: The room we had was very small and the hotel a little hard to locate when we first arrived as the hotel sighnage was not prominent. The front desk girls are very nice but probably need to know a little more about the tourist attractions and eateries in the area to be a bit more helpful with directions. The breakfast dining room is small and at busy times hard to get a table so there might be a wait.
