Liked: Rooms were clean
Disliked: Was not told until we got there that the room was not in the hotel. The only reason we booked the room was the fact that it had an indoor pool located inside. My daughter just got over the flu and had to walk outside with a wet head to walk down to the motel portion. Why was it not posted in the booking details that you were in a different motel? When asked to stay in the hotel part, I was quoted an extra $70 fee. There were tons of rooms available in the hotel that night as well. Will definitely stay somewhere else next time. It also stated breakfast included but was told they don't offer breakfast.

Liked: check in was good and the front desk person was helpful. She could not understand why I was told that no rooms were available when I called to make reservations. The person that was working at the time told me that she could get me a room at the Amish View Inn down the road. I said I didn't think so. But Bookings. com came up and low and behold they had a room at Bird In Hand. I was told that I couldn't use my VIP card for this trip as I had booked thru a 3rd party. I also didn't have to pay bookings.com , but was told to pay Bird in Hand. Wasn't that convenient that I paid Bird in Hand and couldn't get my VIP card stamped. Apparently there were rooms available. We were only 1 of 5 cars in the parking lot . There weren't that many in the parking lot by the pool building. I think I got ripped off. Room 141

Liked: The building and rooms are a little dated, but very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The pool area was very nice, immaculately kept. Staff were very accommodating and courteous.
