Would not return

Liked: Having a spa outside our room was perfect. Being able to fill it ourselves meant it was the perfect temperature. Disappointing that the jets only worked for 5 minutes at a time and you had to get out to turn on again.
Disliked: Room wasn’t serviced at all and we stayed for 3 nights. Only thing that we got was fresh towels each day. Rubbish wasn’t emptied and bed wasn’t made. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. For the price we paid we could have stayed at a more upmarket motel. Staff also had trouble sleeping understanding English.

Disliked: The fridge in our room was broken so had nowhere to store our food.

Legends Stay

Liked: Close to where we needed to be.
Disliked: No air con.

It was the perfect venue...

Liked: Cooking facilities. Close to Whakarewarewa and the Legends of the Peaks event.
Disliked: No sheets, and blankets provided for fold out couch. I didn’t even get given extra towels for the room.

Didn't really enjoy it.

Liked: I liked being able to check in very late and I liked how friendly and accommodating the staff were.
Disliked: The unit was tired and dirty. The furniture needs replacing. I didn't want to sit on it because it was so dirty. Unfortunately the beds were really uncomfortable and every time a truck drove past the whole motel shook like an earthquake.
