Liked: I lucked out and had a 4-bed dorm room to myself. Otherwise, my experience would have been a little less pleasant.The dorm rooms were well heated.Location wasn't great from a walking standpoint, but there was a bus stop right nearby and the public transit system in Bilbao is awesome.
Disliked: Very noisy. Most of the rooms overlook a major freeway.The storage space allocated to each bed was skimpy. There's no way I could have put all my stuff in there (had no such issue at the last hostel I stayed at).The breakfast included wasn't particularly generous. Lots of processed food; no protein.Normally a hostel includes access to a kitchen area. Here, I was charged extra just to get into the kitchen, which was totally lacking in even basic cooking equipment, i.e., knife and cutting board. I was charged a deposit (refundable) for dishes. I was charged a deposit (refundable) for one pot and one pan. Again, no utensils to actually make a meal with.The common areas were cold and uncomfortable to sit in.

Liked: Easy free parking. It was very clean. There was a simple, sufficient breakfast included. There were economical vending machines and microwaves available to use.It is a quiet location. There are friendly bars up the hill.
Disliked: It implied there was a kitchen to use. However it seemed complex to gain access and we are sure if there was an additional fee. In the end we used the microwave.It is about a 45min walk to the Guggenheim museum.The bedside light switches did not work.
