Liked: The room was spacious and very clean. Check in was simple. Parking was great. The living room was a great space to unwind at night and play a game with family. Staff started a fire in the fireplace which was amazing.
Disliked: Breakfast didn't start until 8am...We are first chair skiers. We also called on Thursday to find out what time breakfast was and we were told 7:30am. The living room area where the shared refrigerator is, is only open between 7:30am-10pm. We were not able to get anything cold to drink before 7:30am because we put our cooler in the shared refrigerator, We were not able to change the temperature of our room...and our room was very hot. So we opened a window but really, what a waste of heat. Lastly, I feel like we were micromanaged with cameras literally everywhere. The man at the front desk was scanning the cameras in the morning when we were eating breakfast. Kind of strange to me.

Liked: Nice staff, plenty of parking space, big room. Good heating, very clean bathroom.
Disliked: Breakfast is served only for an hour between 8AM and 9AM.

Liked: The owners were outstanding people who run a great Lodge ! The breakfast was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable-The location was close to everywhere we needed to be-I highly recommend Big Bear!

Liked: Lovely B&B. Comfortable room, nice sitting area, staff very efficient. Enjoyed the breakfast.
