Beverly Laurel Motor Hotel, Los Angeles

My sister and I stayed at the Beverly Laurel in Mid October, 2016. The staff and location were great. It was within walking distance (2 Blocks) to the Price is Right show. We also were able to meet Drew Carey at a restaurant in the area. This was definitely a highlight for us. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We felt safe at the Beverly Laurel and in the area - as two older ladies that was very important. We would definitely stay at the Beverly Laurel again.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the past due to the location. It has always been "fine" for the money, but now it has been updated and made into this cool mid century jewel - what a treat! I will never stay anywhere else.

Liked: Nice clean rooms; friendly staff and valet; attached restaurant a plus.
Disliked: AC was hard to configure - kept changing to heat when set AC; parking a little high.

Liked: We loved everything about this lovely hotel, it’s got a great location and it offers great value for money.
Disliked: The lift did not work and we had to carry our suitcases up and down the stairs to the third floor.

Liked: Nothing, they refused to let me check in since I did not have a physical credit card but only apple pay for accidentals … although the room was already paid and reserved 2months ago on booking
Disliked: The person at the front deak was rude, not educated, inflexible and the poorest consumer service I have ever had … refusing a client who already paid the room because he does not have a physical CC for accidentals because “ it is the policy”!!! She did not let me talk to the manager to explain my situation ( I had my wallet lost a couple days before while traveling thru Nevada )….. I was with my 11 years old twins and crying in the lobby and they did not care …. What link of service is that ???? I am suppose to get my money back and I am still waiting for it !!!!!
