Liked: The location of the hotel was good. The breakfast was decent enough. The final room in which we stayed was largely, though not completely, clean, as the floor needed vacuuming. The conditions of the beds and appliances were as they should be.
Disliked: The shower in the first room we were given did not drain. This was a walk-in shower, not a tub/shower combination, which meant that one could only run the shower for a short time before the basin filled to capacity. This unfortunate fact was discovered late on a rainy night. When I was forced mid-shower to call the front desk about the problem, they said there was no one on site who could perform maintenance. I then asked if I could finish my shower in a vacant room and then return to mine with the hope that a maintenance person could hopefully repair my shower in the morning. It was late, and I just wanted to finish my shower and go to bed. However, I was told that I could not utilize a vacant room and return to my own and that I would instead--not having completed my shower, mind you--have to remove all of my belongings and relocate--in the cold, blowing rain!--to another room. I pointed out that this was a ridiculous demand when the problem was their own lack of maintenance and I had paid for a room with the understanding that the facilities should function. The person at the front desk said that she would check with her manager. The manager, as it happened, insisted on exactly the same highly inconvenient and quite callous protocol, and this was related to me, rather rudely at this point, by the person at the front desk. So in the middle of the night, in a disheveled state, and in inclement weather, I was compelled to pack and move, along with my husband, to the other side of the building all because the property could not be effectively managed. No one ever noticed that that shower didn't drain? Or are the maids not cleaning the showers? And despite all of this, no compensation was offered.

It was good but very...

Liked: The cleaning ladies were very helpful with stuff we needed. I liked the space the family room gave us.
Disliked: I didn't like the family room had a hallway light coming through the windows all night long and my daughter getting up several times a night thinking it was daylight outside. I didn't like how you could feel every spring in the bed. The pillows were old and uncomfortable. I didn't like when you go to the pool there were hardly any lights on and no way to turn the big ones on.
