Staff was nice and the room was clean. Not too bad a place to stay.

Liked: Service was fantastic. People were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of options. Location is in downtown Watertown, and easy access to where we wanted to go.
Disliked: Our room was clean, but had an aroma similar to that of a smoker's room. It was minor because we didn't spend much time in the room. Also the door handle was loose, but still functional.

Disliked: The windows had mold and moss growing inside of them, the head board was very dirty, the wall in the room was also very dirty, beds were hard and noisy!

Worst experience and property I've...

Liked: Breakfast and attendant were very good.
Disliked: Trash in hallway between our room and next there at check-in and a larger pile in morning. Occupants of the room next began arguing loudly around 10 PM and again at 0130 am and we had to securely open our door and request they quit screaming at each other. Then on the other side of us, a man and wife began arguing and screaming at each other until woman broke into tears. At no time did staff at hotel intervene and there was no answer when we tried front desk We almost called the police but our asking them to be quiet seemed to quiet things down. Also, at check-in, a long haired man at coffee bar next to front desk was mumbling then using foul language to no one -but-everyone in general. Clerk did nothing. My wife and I stayed in our room until morning without sleep and literally fearing for our lives. We informed desk clerk of our impression of the hotel which is like a three story, block long dormitory with virtually all of the lower conference & meeting rooms chained and locked and the property has seen better days. If i Had to ate I would give half a star. The building across the street is a state mental health rehab and treatment facility and I believe some of the problems are directly linked to this building. I am a 77 year old totally disabled veteran and based on my travels I would advise everyone to stay somewhere else if you value your safety. See photo I've attached of the trash in hall next to our door and room next to remained all night.

Liked: It was close to our location and we did have a very relaxing stay.
Disliked: Like many of the reviews said the pool is still closed. This wasn’t an issue for use but when traveling with a group of dancers the pool would have been nice. Also the king suite was great but the pull out beds had no mattress. We had to go to the front desk after checking in to ask about it. At first the girl tried giving us a roll away bed as a replacement…I was not okay with that and when she went and talked to the man in charge he had another option of bringing in a mattress. This was a much better option but do feel we should have been told all this upon checking and not wait until we discovered it. I mean we did book for a family of 4, did you think we wouldn’t ask for the 2nd bed.

Liked: great location, value for money. Front desk staff were very friendly, offered us a bottle of water and gave us recommendations for local restaurants. Room was clean and even though we were downtown it was quiet.
Disliked: Breakfast was very basic but staff was very pleasant.
