Largely underwhelming stay and no...

Liked: The view from the room was pleasant and a good breakfast was provided. Our bedroom was far enough away to protect us somewhat from the noise from the wedding taking place on the premises. The dinner provided was tasty and staff reasonably attentive though it was clear that resident diners (not attending the wedding) were of little priority.
Disliked: The car park was full on arrival and we had to park in a local side street. The bedroom was rather dated and not worth £155 a night, even with the sea view. Although the hotel had booked us a table for dinner in the bar area as requested and they had warned in advance that wedding guests had access to that bar it was still rather surprising how much noise this generated. Really, I would expect a hotel to serve dinner to other residents in a separate room (perhaps repurposing a meeting room).

Liked: Property is located in a beautiful area with a great view of the sea.The rooms are lovely but furniture is dated and grubby in places.The evening menu never changes and is quite dull. The cheesecake was stale. The breakfast was very nice with a good choice but service finishes at 9.15 which is early if you on a leisure visit. We have been here before but this time not keen on returning.

Cosy and nice and easy...

Liked: Staff were lovely. Its easily accessible to Clevedon Hall with a 20min walk if needed. Its simple cosy and just what you need. I saw an ocean view room and that was amazing.
Disliked: Shower pressure was ideal....it wasn't poor but not great . May have liked a small fridge but that was a first world problem

Decent hotel in nice, picturesque...

Liked: Great location overlooking the Bristol Channel and within walking distance of Hill Road and the sea front. Friendly staff, good breakfast , family room all for a reasonable price
Disliked: Decor is getting a little tired and it could do with a bit of a spruce up
