Better than “adequate.”

Liked: Breakfast was fine. Nice selections. Found the hotel layout attractive, especially for summer weather.
Disliked: Website spoke of a spa; I had looked forward to using it, only to find it wasn’t working. Also think there should be another grab bar in the shower.

Liked: Very close to UC Davis, lots of stores and restaurants around
Disliked: Just a little dated but not bad, strong chlorine smell on towels (at least we know they’re clean)

Great place to stay.

Liked: It's conveniently located across the street from Black Bear Diner which we love. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.
Disliked: No complaints

Horrible cleaning job.

Disliked: There was blood on our toilet, hair on the bathroom floor, and blood or some other gross material on the shower mat, and dirt or worse on a towel (see pics). Disgusting! We would have left if we hadn't checked in so late.

Liked: Great location. Adequate parking (which venues in Davis do not always have). Love the proximity to the Black Bear restaurant. All of the staff were great. Very clean. Breakfast was well presented. Loved our stay.
