It was a lovely hotel...

Liked: Room service was very good and the breakfast was very tasty. The waitress that took our orders for dinner in the evening was very friendly and helpful and had a big smile on her face, despite the fact that she was working a 17 hour shift!
Disliked: The night staff (1 person) was really miserable and seemed put out by my request to take something to drink to our room! The hotel was very dusty, but I put that down to the fact that they were decorating some of the rooms/function room.

I would use the hotel...

Liked: Close to a road but not noisy. Comfy bed. Swimming pool.
Disliked: Bathroom was clean but unpleasant odour. As only staying one night we didn’t mention it. Bedroom was pleasant and fresh.

Disliked: It was my birthday on Sunday 3rd, and booke a 1night stay for me, husband and daughter, 1h drive from home and has swimming pool, which I though will be the best part of our little celebration day. How wrong I was. Receptionist wasn't very nice, like she didn't want to be there, but maybe she had bad day. The worst was swimming pool. Water was so cold, I had goosebumps, some ladies comeover, and started refilling the pool and though will be warmer soon. I manage 5 minutes in this water, went to sauna to warm up, then to my room to take shower. Any way all my family we end up having a cold. I just had chest infection and got cancer treatments. My daughter didn't go to school last 2 days, only my husbend manage to recover quickly. It supposed to be nice retreat and day with my family, now I'm hoping I won't have to take antibiotic again, and my cancer treatments will go with a plan, so no, not recomending this hotel, especially the swimming pool. Was cheap, but not worth it to risking my health.

Liked: Loved the area, the staff were lovely, very helpful, the food was excellent and the room was excellent,

Disliked: The rooms are badly in need of refurbishment and smelt musty. The lights above the bed didn’t work.

Great, will stay there again

Liked: Staff are really helpful. Pool and sauna good. Food both for evening and breakfast very good.
Disliked: Room was cold when we arrived. I needed an extra blanket, which was quickly found though.
