I really needed the internet...

Liked: The bed was comfortable. A nice quiet room.
Disliked: My Wifi did not work. The man at reception said he could not help me. I explained before I came that I needed wifi in order to do my work. The shower was not very good, either very hot or cold water. I could not get the shower gel or shampoo out of the containers however hard I squeezed.

Nice hotel let down by...

Liked: Breakfast was “ok”. Beds lovely and soft. Rooms quiet. Convenient location and large car park. Staff did their best to make up for the inadequacies of the kitchen.
Disliked: Breakfast was “ok”: good choice but food appeared to have been kept warm rather than cooked fresh. Pastries ran out early. Coffee warm rather than hot . Dinner was like an episode of Fawlty Towers! It was steak night and by 18.45 none were available , what did come was over cooked as was the liver. By dessert time we could only laugh when half the choices weren’t available . We found somewhere else to eat on our second night. The hotel was fully booked but they seem to have made no provision for that.

Liked: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our needs. The food was very good.
Disliked: The hotel bedroom was very dated and could do with an update. As we had a dog with us we had to eat in an alternative room to other guests which was fine but our table was not laid for breakfast for us 2 days running.

Best breakfast in town.

Liked: The breakfast is amazing, cooked to order with an incredible choice, including kippers and smoked haddock!
Disliked: If I were to nit pick, I'd say the windows in the old building could do with some secondary glazing of some kind.

Polite staff but whole place...

Liked: Good breakfast
Disliked: Having climbed to 2nd floor, found that our room had not been cleared from previous occupant. However, alternative room quickly sorted. Bedroom and, particularly, bathroom were tired.
