Tasteful London hotel, with convenient...

Liked: Very nicely renovated. Elevator access to upper floors. Friendly staff. Excellent location to arrive from Heathrow or bus terminal, and from which to explore London. M&S Food, restaurants and cafes at the end of the street. Opening window. Tea making provisions in the room. Shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer.
Disliked: The rooms are small, but that’s the trade off for location and price. We managed, but it would be a struggle if you have large suitcases. No safe or refrigerator in the room. Some hand cream in the bathroom would have been a nice addition.

Liked: The reception staff were very friendly, quick, and efficient on check-in. The bed was very comfortable, and the hotel was located on a quiet street in a great location with easy access to the underground. There was a good selection at breakfast, but service at times was a little slow.
Disliked: Lift not working for the duration of our stay.

Disliked: family room was way too tiny, breakfast was ok, not great. Some staff were very friendly and smiling, others seemed not to enjoy their time there.

Liked: Delightful hotel. The staff are courteous and thoroughly accommodating .
Disliked: Previously stayed in the basement, which was a lot better option form me due to the high ceilings and lack of noise. The 3rd floor was not so accommodating, especially as the thermostat broke and made the room far too hot and humid.
