The manager was the best hospitality professional I have encountered in a long time. We had no issues at all. If we had, I am very confident it would have been addressed immediately.

This was the worst hotel experience we have had in a long time. The room burned my nose and eyes from cold and the bed was like a rock! The tv was old and outdated. When we called the front desk the man showed up at our room with a spray bottle to spray some chemical deodorizer in the room!!!! I was at a convention all day and so looking forward to a hot bath and the water was set to a maximum temperature so it was tepid and I couldn't have a hot bath. As well the internet was very slow to work on and it was down a lot of the time. I would have left except I paid online and the front desk said they could not refund my money. We were very disappointed with this hotel. In the past we have had much better experiences. We were just in Clearwater and had a nice room, excellent bed.....We are business people and have travelled from Canada to US 3 times in the past 6 months and will be travelling in Florida very often, so it would be nice to know that we could stay in a Best Western and have a dependable experience ( unlike this past one).

Liked: Hotel was ok .Breakfast selection not good but Ihop next door was our saviour.There was a musty smell throughout hotel and the air conditioning units were very noisy so either be too hot or too loud to get sleep

Last minute decision, wouldn’t “plan”...

Liked: Average hotel but definitely not worth the $250+ price tag. Walls are paper thin, we woke up to babies crying and the staff bickering about who was going to mop the floor. The free breakfast was everything you’d expect from something free. It lacked quality and substance. The room served its purpose for the night but I wouldn’t stay here again

My expectations for Best Western...

Liked: It was in a convenient location to restaurants and the business location I was visiting.
Disliked: I’ve stayed at other Best Western locations and I expected more for what I paid for the night. Some updating, maintenance and renovation would be helpful.

Disliked: When we arrived, we were given a room on the 3rd floor, we had heavy luggage as we were travelling onwards the following day for a 2 week vacation. We were then told the lift wasn't working and so we needed to carry our cases up the stairs. We were not offered an alternative room, nor were we offered any help to get our cases up, and also down the following day. We weren't the only people affected, and the staff members didn't seem very worried at all. The hotel is very shabby, and needs a total refurbishment. We didn't have time to use the pool area, but if we had of, we probably wouldn't as it wasn't really very inviting at all. However the beds were very comfortable. and the breakfast food was decent, and as much as you wanted, but why the polystyrene plates and plastic cutlery ? Not very appetising.
