Very good hotel and great location for the event we were attending at The Roundhouse, Camden.

Excellent value

Liked: Located on a quiet side street a short walk from the Tube. Good sized rooms, comfortable beds, very helpful staff, reasonable breakfast. The decor is a little dated, but if that doesn't bother you this place is excellent value.

Very comfortable, convenient and enjoyable.

Liked: The room was fine and comfortable and well serviced each day. I only had breakfast on one day but that had everything needed and the dining area was very pleasant. The location was excellent, although I didn't realise on the first day that you could walk through to the Tube at the end of the road, I thought it was a dead end. Perhaps a little more information on arrival about the surrounding area and access to the tube would be helpful.

Pleasant and enjoyable stay in...

Liked: It had character. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly. Having a bath was lovely and it was clean.
Disliked: Some areas need attention; evidence of previous leak in bedroom ceiling, cracked tiles, enamel missing off bath. Strange smell in room on arrival. Second morning breakfast items had to be requested. Issue with toast. No yoghurt or rolls top up until requested (twice).

Nice quiet hotel in a...

Liked: Room was as expected, but I paid for a larger room. Location was excellent, and just a block from the tube, I had stayed in this area before. Breakfast was very good with several good choices of hot and continental breakfast. Furniture was serviceable and bathrooms were clean.
Disliked: The elevator is extremely dated, and slow, and undersized for the hotel. 4th floor is not served by elevator. The door to the elevator had trouble closing. This elevator should be replaced for safety and efficiency. There was no room safe, only a safe at the main desk. These days a room safe is expected and a necessity for peace of mind.There were no local controls of heating or air conditioning (there is no air conditioning).
