Based on my hotel experiences the room was average based on the cost. Upon check in we did not have hand towels. The housekeeper promised to bring hand towels. When we returned to the room the hand towels were not provided as promised. I had to go to the front desk at 11 pm to get hand towels.

Liked: The room was available and cleaned one hour early.
Disliked: We did not receive hand towels at check in.

Good Value for the Savannah...

Liked: The location was good, maybe slightly noisy as Bay Street is busy but nothing excruciating. The room was comfortable and breakfast was generally good. The room rate seemed reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. Overall, it was pretty good value for the historic district in Savannah.
Disliked: The water pressure in the shower could’ve been better, it was adequate enough but a little weaker than I’m used to. Parking was outrageous ($36 a night) and it was higher than when I first made the reservation in January ($33 a night then) but I guess this is common in major destination cities now.

Liked: I didn’t realize it’s motel style - when you open your door, you’re outside. Lots of street noise, and since I was on first floor - lots of people walking by, usually talking loud, plus the parking lot is right there. There are a few tables outside by the breakfast area - two of the four nights of my stay, people sat there at like 2am talking. I was meeting family, and the bulk of them showed up the second night. I almost changed hotels, but once they got there, I felt better. Positives: great location. Walking distance to wedding venue we were attending; River walk; City Market. You can purchase lots of tour tickets right there in the hotel lobby. Also, there is a BP gas station/convenience store across the street - water/soda/snacks less expensive there than lobby. Also housekeeping did clean daily, fresh towels, etc., but this location is just kind of tired and worn. I can’t speak to the breakfast they serve as I didn’t try it.

Would never stay or recommend...

Liked: Very limited breakfast and unhealthy items.One kitchen staff was very rude.
Disliked: Our room was filthy !! Feet were black from walking on floors, found wrappers and water bottle left under bed. We ask for NO room service and two of the four days someone entered our room and removed clean towels and wash cloths that we needed. And took bath Mat without putting clean in down.

Disliked: Staff told me i could check out early and ask booking for a refund, booking granted my refund if the hotel confirmed i checked out early. The hotel staff never checked me out and told booking I didn’t check out so I didn’t get refunded for the night I was not there.

Liked: Very conveniently placed for all Savannah has to offer.It was clean & comfortable Most of the staff were very friendly & helpful Didn’t get to see the pool facilities as too much to see. Breakfast was basic but good
