Disliked: The breakfast was really bland and tasted bad and there was a little amount of people and the food ran out so fast we had to go ask, they charged us $303 for the worst stay ever, the carpets felt dirty and outdated like they were from the 1960s and the beds felt also really old and uncomfortable and dirty, the bathrooms were so tiny and the sink was literally knee height and all of our family were only 5’11 and 6’0 don’t even get me started on the showers. The shower curtain was literally touching me all the time I was showering it had to be like 7-10 inches width and it was so uncomfortable and in the drain I saw all of the piping and I couldn’t get the water to be a comfortable temperature. The pool was really cold and also the stairs to the 2nd floor smelt so bad I had to cover up my nose. In our room there was wires hanging out from clearly a smoke detector. Like there was literally a hole in the ceiling with just wires hanging out of it. The staff were pretty mean and thought I was a pizza delivery driver and said “oh you bringing me pizza?”. The pool was also really gross and really cold, no heating at the pool whatsoever and no hot tub. It’s clear that there hasn’t been any type of renovations since the 1980s at least. And the fact that they charged us $30 dollars more after we left because of some made up taxes while the original price was $271, that was the first time that has ever happened to me. NEVER EVER CHOOSE BEST WESTERN!!!

Okay but staff should have...

Liked: The location was perfect.
Disliked: The staff knowing there was pre-teen hockey tournament should have taken better care to ensure the comfort of the other guest. The children ran the halls until 1am on Friday night. Parents should have a controlled their children after a certain hour but staff should have ensured that it was done.

Liked: It was a good location to the town. It was comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The pool water could have been warmer. The room was nice & warm but the water was too cold.

Decent place with some perks....

Liked: Size of room was nice. Coffee maker, mini frig & microwave.
Disliked: No elevator. Only 2 story hotel, but with bad knees carrying luggage up stairs was not fun. Bed was incredibly hard. Shower curtain was installed too far into the shower insert. Every time you showered, the fabric curtain stuck to you. If you tried to fix the curtain, water just got all along the floor. My room was not serviced through the weekend. I got my own fresh towels & coffee pods. This wasn't too bad, as I was traveling solo this trip. If I had been with my family, though, this would have been unacceptable. (I discussed this with front desk when I checked out)
