A fantastic introduction to Jersey....

Liked: Very close to town. The staff were exceptional. Really helpful. Hotel was very clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The room was a bit hot. But there was a portable AC unit which did help.

Lovely stay, friendly staff, great...

Liked: We had a family room for 3 of us, which was well appoints and comfortable. The breakfasts were lovely with plenty of choice and all the staff were very friendly. It was a short walk from town centre (about 20 minutes) and was normally served by bus routes (week days) although there were some diversions in place while we were there. Beds were comfy.
Disliked: Overall everything was pretty good. However I am not sure it is in the hotel's control but although we were on the 3rd floor there was a lot of street noise from very early in the morning to late at night (traffic, deliveries and bottles being moved around). The room did have double glazing which helped to reduce this but it was quite stuffy with the windows closed all the time. The beds were comfy but the pillows were a little firm for me - providing a couple of soft ones to provide choice could help.

Disappointing

Liked: I liked the location, close to all amenities.
Disliked: The TV in room was not working, kept switching off for no reason. The shower was cold.

Liked: Lovely hotel, great breakfast and lovely roof terrace. The staff here are excellent.
Disliked: Slightly over priced for the room size.

Liked: Location is good within walking distance of St Helier shops and restaurants.Staff at the hotel were very good - polite, friendly and quick to respond. Food and service was excellent.
Disliked: Room was not as good as expected. The four-poster bed looked impressive but was horrendous to try and and get a good night's sleep. The mattress needs replacing as it rolls you to the middle. And the whole bed creaks and groans every time there is any movement in the bed. Disappointed with the room. And the bathroom. Impressive, enormous bath. And great shower attachment. But nowhere to put the shower attachment so that it could be used as a shower!!!
