Great stay in Caen

Liked: It's a perfectly good hotel for the price. Our visit to the war museum was excellent.

Clean and comfy hotel in...

Liked: Great location, clean room, hot power shower, comfortable bed. Probably the best hotel we stayed in during our time exploring Normandy. The restaurant downstairs does a great three course menu for 25 euros and serves food until about 9.30pm. Don’t miss the Farmers Market round the corner for breakfast bits if you’re in Caen on a Sunday.
Disliked: Parking is at a public car park opposite. It’s 22 euros overnight BUT to get the modest 3 euro hotel discount you have to go to hotel reception BEFORE you drive in to the carpark.

All in all it was...

Liked: The property was in a Great location with shops and restaurants all around it. The hotel staff was very attentive to all or inquiries and needs, The room size was spacious and bright. If you are driving they have a convenient parking garage across the street for a fee.
Disliked: We had breakfast both days and the eggs were terrible.

Best place in Caen

Liked: This place is awesome! Great location, great room, parking lot across the street, great Royal restaurant next store to it. Breakfast is ok for 15€ the best part of the hotel is Daphne at the front reception. She is so wonderful. At night everyone is having drinks in the bar and lobby and it’s a great energy. Thank you Daphne!
Disliked: Nothing
