Pleasant stay

Liked: Lovely big room, close to the centre of town.
Disliked: N/A

Dated hotel but comfy bed.

Liked: Breakfast was lovely, though service a little slowshower was great.thin duvet but room was warm
Disliked: no batteries in remote. got some from reception but found out tv didnt work anyway - no signal. receptionist had a look at it but couldnt get it to work either and said maintenace will look at tomorrow (i was checking next day!).No food in hotel in evening as there was a wedding on (not advised of this when booking).

Liked: Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Views from back of hotel were lovely and I enjoyed waking up in the sunrise.
Disliked: It was a period property so some traditional style was expected, but it was a little dated and with some modernisation, e.g. in bedrooms/bathrooms/shower, it would be vastly improved. Overall the temperature was especially warm and it was difficult to keep windows open to help cool down. It was therefore too stuff for me, but this may suit other travellers.

Liked: Location is good for the main sights that we were interested in.
Disliked: No soap provided in bathroom. Bathroom sink cracked. No teaspoon provided for in-room beveridges. Door did not auto lock when leaving room.

Excellent breakfast & the staff...

Liked: The staff, especially the lady serving us breakfast was absolutely a pleasure! So friendly and helpful! An asset to the Queens hotel! (I’m sorry I don’t know the lady’s name but she is a red haired lady), she made our stay at the Queens I have to say! The breakfast was exceptionally good, beautiful Scottish breakfast, lovely cold foods too on offer!
Disliked: The rooms are cold, the heating is on but the rooms never really heat up.
