Liked: Great location with a nice comfy bed.
Disliked: The extraction fan in the bathroom was excessive. But necessary as the smoke alarm was identified as being very sensitive.

Winston Churchill stayed here often!

Liked: Lovely old building with contemporary style in rooms, excellent value for money. Very pleased with the high standard.
Disliked: Nothing - all good!

Liked: The hotel is very dated. The rooms could do with some modernisation. There were very few power points in the room, with none close to the bed. The bath had a shower curtain, which is quite unhygienic. They should invest in shower screens. The floor of the room was not flat. There was a run on the floor. We measured this with a spirit level.and it gave a reading of 26%. This affected the bed and, therefore, affected our quality of sleep. The location was good. The breakfast was good with lots of choice.
