Liked: Breakfast was good, room had nice amenities,
Disliked: There was no one in reception. Phone did not work to call customer service. Someone finally came after keeping waiting for 10 minute. Bed was not comfortable

Liked: Staff were brilliant and the hotel was excellent
Disliked: The IT Screens on entry = no point in having good staff if a guest is greeted by a screen. The system does not work anyway as it asks for a credit card and then cannot register it on the hotel system

Not a good night sleep

Liked: Fairly quiet room
Disliked: Bed too big for the room, not much space to walk around it.Lack of visible plugs in room - by the kettle.Radiator in the bathroom needs bleeding - made a noise every 15 minutes until the heating turned off at 2am. Did not get the best night sleep. Lid of toilet in the way of the handle to flush the toilet

Would consider returning if visiting...

Disliked: Bed too hard and creaked Toilet wouldn't flush all the time Bathroom looked old and needs modernising huge gap at front door Room too hot

Liked: Excellent staff, so welcoming and helpful. Above and beyond.
Disliked: Poor (thin) pillows. Would be nice to have shampoo as well as a soap

The Priory. Bury St Eds.

Liked: Beautiful setting, lovely and quiet. All the staff were really lovely, helpful and polite. I had a light meal in the restaurant, which was lovely. I have stayed many times and it's the nicest place to stay, cheaper than in the town. My first choice when visiting Suffolk.
Disliked: Nothing. No negatives at all.
