Liked: The breakfast room was very nice. The food was... fine.
Disliked: When checking in I was told the room I had reserved was a "closet with a bed" and I was asked if I'd like to upgrade. My room was perfectly fine size for two people - very glad I didn't spend more to upgrade. Weird way to welcome guests. Make them feel cheap about what they choose and at the same time make your hotel's offerings sound not so good.Plenty of dirt in the corners of the bathroom. Paint worn off the bathroom door frame - makes it feel run down. The back parking area is very neglected and has trash, weeds and generally feels dirty. The carpet in the back entrance is very dirty to the point of being gross. Not what I'd expect for $170. Hearing about the naked guy who passed out in the hallway and couldn't find his wallet was a nice final touch to our stay. Hard to tell if this hotel is on the way up or on its way out. Probably will look for a different hotel next time we're in town.
