Liked: The location of the hotel was nice. They offered a very nice breakfast that was included with our booking.
Disliked: We travel quite frequently staying in hotels over 100 times a year and have never experienced such an unwelcoming arrival to a hotel. We arrived to the hotel early (around 11AM) and asked if it would be possible to check into a room early if one was available. They told us that they had a room available but it would cost us an additional $50.00. This is the first time I have ever heard an answer like this and as I’ve mentioned, we travel a great deal. They told us check in was not until 3PM but that she would get us into a room at 1PM and waive the fee. We told the hotel we would return at 1PM. I would have preferred the hotel lie to us and tell us they had no rooms available then to try to get an extra $50.00’s out of a customer. After all, we were staying for three nights. (It really wasn’t the extra dollar amount that bothered us as much as the unwelcoming reception we received.We got back to the hotel around 12:40PM and saw a woman in the lobby getting immediately checked into a room without an additional fee.The same hotel front desk hostess saw our observation and called for us to check into the room.Upon checking in, we asked if the lobby bar would be open later that day. She replied, “It should be”. I said to my friend, “That doesn’t sound likely”. It was a Saturday and the bar never opened. In fact, to our dismay, it did not open Saturday, Sunday or Monday evenings.Our weather was sunny and nice. It warmed up to 68-71 degrees. During our stay, we noticed a beautifully maintained pool and hot tub off the lobby. Although too cool to swim in the pool, we thought it would be nice to sit in a couple chaise lounges to soak in some sun.No such luck, we were told the pool “area” cannot be accessed after October 31st and before April 1st. Another disappointment.The breakfast crew were fantastic. They were friendly, welcoming and served a delicious breakfast each day.

Staff at desk were excellent...

Liked: The staff & breakfast were the highlights. Disappointed that it was only open for breakfast, and not lunch &/or dinner. Bar area had no food. No toothpaste in bathrooms...not a fan of brands used - some people are sensitive to smell. Scent-free would be better.

PRICES VERY HIGH FOR LOCATION (FAR FROM AIRPORT-SHOULD HAVE SOME CAR/SHUTTLE SERVICE).

Comfortable Stay, Great Breakfast!

Liked: The breakfast is phenomenal! Real grits, cheese, eggs, sausage, cereal, and you can make a waffle and put toppings on it. The rooms were clean, bed is comfortable. I love EVERYTHING!
Disliked: N/A. Truly. No complaints. I will be back in January 2025.

Liked: Family friendly establishment the room was comfortable and clean. Great breakfast, would definitely visit again with family.

Pretty pricey for one night...

Liked: Breakfast was good with enough choices to satisfy. Room was comfortable and large with desk and seating area. Coffee maker nice. Didn't use anything else. Only there one night.
Disliked: The toilet seat was loose and wobbly which could have been a detriment to our safety. We had to be very careful to keep from sliding off sideways. I reported it to the front desk when checking out. Housekeeping staff should have noticed this issue and reported it for replacement or repair.
