Terrible, overpriced, dirty, rude management

Liked: There was one staff member who was kind when I arrived (not Summer). She was very helpful.The shower was warm.
Disliked: The room was filthy-a layer of dust and cobwebs in the corners. The lightbulbs were burnt out. The plugs didn't work. The morning buffet had rotten fruit. There were grounds in the coffee, and it wasn't available when I came downstairs for breakfast. The mattress was so old, there was a sleeping divet on one side I kept rolling into. The icing on the cake was when I went downstairs in the morning after check out, the manager-Summer-was extremely dismissive of my needs. I needed a quiet place to work for a couple of hours in the morning, and she would not open one of the many conference rooms for me. She said there were people coming in four hours later and she didn't want to have to open the rooms up for use before then. I asked about a place to work the night before, and the front desk employee said it should not be a problem. When I told Summer this, she started interrogating me about who told me that. It made me very uncomfortable, because the person who told me that was the ONLY bright spot of my stay. It was as if she was going to punish that employee for being accommodating! Just terrible.

Liked: Everything was excellent. Very clean through out the hotel. The room was excellent and clean. The staff was very courteous and professional.

Disliked: I couldn’t get a room with walk-in glass shower. Had to settle for tub/shower without safety rails. I am an elderly solo traveler and was nervous getting in and out of the tub.

Liked: As snowbirds, this is one of our stops to and fro Florida every year. We travel with a well behaved dog and this particularBest Western is pet friendly. There is a good variety of restaurants for dinner within a short walk which is nice after beingin the car all day. The breakfast offered in the morning has a good variety and something for everyone. A great and convenient way to start the day.
