The Best Western Plus University Park Inn and Suites was the perfect location for our stay in Ames, IA. It was only 1.5 miles from the venue, Stephens Auditorium, and was also close to nearby restaurants and the highway. The hotel felt cozy and comfortable. We had a King Suite room and it was spacious and comfortable. Staff was friendly and courteous. We'll definitely return to this hotel again.

Liked: Clean hotel and loved the decor. Very welcoming and comfortable.

Liked: The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They have a great coffee area and breakfast. The location is perfect, and the facilities are very clean.
Disliked: The only complaint was the pool and hot tub were being fixed and not available. I did not know this when I booked.

Nice - but not great....

Disliked: smelled like mold or dirty mop water… The front desk girl was very nice but flustered and was maybe undertrained. There were 2 check ins before mine and it took over 30mins to get checked in.
