I consider this excellent value for the money considering the few negatives of my stay. This motel was less than 1 mile away from the Dixie Fairgrounds where my event was held. I was there before the car even warmed up. Breakfast was nothing great, but I'm vegetarian and I'm only gonna eat their oatmeal and have a cup of tea. Powdered coffee creamer never makes my wife happy, but, hey, it's travel, and they had liquid Cremora downstairs and powdered in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Regarding the pillows, what sense does it make to have a wonderful king size bed and then put 5 half sized pillows on it that are too small to be used for anything other than propping up a book on your lap. You can't use them to sit up in bed, and they were terribly uncomfortable to sleep on.
Liked: Clean, expansive room with excellent firm bed; extra cover in dresser drawer for cold night; fridge, microwave, large sofa in addition to chair.
Disliked: Pillows on the king size bed were small 1/2 size chunks of lead - very uncomfortable. No fan in the bathroom to keep mirror from getting fogged during shower.

I am sorry, I don't remember anyone's name. But the male receptionist was very nice. The attendants in the breakfast room were very attentive to everyone's needs. They made sure there was plenty of food for everyone. The cleaning crew was very nice. The black female manager is very RUDE.
Liked: Room 422 was clean. The cleaning crew was very nice, even though they never came to clean my room while I was there. The black older guy that I met at the front desk on Thursday when I checked in was very nice. He knows how to manage your guests better than the black older female manager, who was working the Friday morning, July 11th.
Disliked: I was first assigned to room 407 - when I got to the room it wasn't even clean. The person, who was a male, was very nice. He changed my room to 422. Then I asked him what it would cost if if I wanted to stay another night - he said that he would charge me the online price to make up for giving me a dirty room. On Friday morning, my key card was cancelled. I didn't think anything of it since the same thing had happened the day before. So I took them to the service desk - that same nice, older gentleman reset them for me. Soon after I got to my room I got a call from someone who stated that she was the manager of the hotel and that I needed to come to the front desk right away to settle my account, that I only had a reservation for one night - "what are you trying to pull?". I was speechless! That woman was so disrespectful, so ghetto. She is a disgrace to the hotel. In addition, she didn't even take the time to communicate with the others employees to find out what had transpired the day before. She just jumped down my throat asking me to come settle my account. That woman has no sense of hospitality or customer service. She has no business being the manager of anything until she can manage herself.

Will not stay here again
Liked: Location was close to the sports complex’s
Disliked: Was put in a handicap room which the shower is way too big for two double beds and took up too much of the sleeping area with one side of a bed up against the wall. The sink was a single porcelain sink with no counter to put items on. The bedroom and hallway doors are very lightweight and cheap and the hallway light shines through the gaps all around the door. We were woken up early morning by a dog barking two rooms down.

Nothing “Plus” about this Bedt...
Liked: Price -but you get what you pay for. Wish we had stayed at Courtyard across the street.Breakfast was ok (coffee/drinks, yogurt, oatmeal, waffle makers were good…scrambled eggs, not so much) and the only clean area of the hotel. Across street/walking distance to basketball arena.
Disliked: Asked front desk staff on arrival if they had any recommendations of things to do in the area. She simply replied “I’m not from around here”. Filthy- hallways not vacuumed, cobwebs covering window at end of hallway, old bandaid on room’s floor on arrival was still there upon checkout 4 days later, only top sheet on bed- no blanket or comforter (had to walk down and ask front desk for one

Disliked: Sheets were dirty, bug on the sheets. The place smelled bad, the lobby, the hallways.

TERRIBLE PLACE TO STAY
Liked: The breakfast was cold. cocktail juice machine was not working.
Disliked: Door was already opened to my room. Trash was all outside the rooms. It had snowed there and I told the Receptionist that they need to remove the ice that was in front of the doors or someone would fall. She said she would get to it but never did. There was no toilet tissue in the bathroom. Elevator was very slow.

Very nice and comfortable.
Liked: Very clean and nice. Hotel staff were exceptional.
Disliked: The smell of marijuana from the next room was unbearable. I know that is not the staffs fault.
