Originally built in 1835 The Croft Hotel BW Signature Collection is located in the historic village of Croft-on-Tees overlooking the River Tees. Free parking and free WiFi are available at the hotel. The hotel combines period features with modern décor. Each room has an private bathroom a work desk TV hairdryer as well as tea/coffee making facilities and Egyptian cotton bed linen. Some rooms have beautiful views of Croft Bridge and St Peter's Church supposedly where Lewis Carroll was inspired to write Alice in Wonderland. The on-site restaurant serves up a range dishes specializing in traditional English cuisine but with contemporary influences. They are committed to using locally sourced produce wherever possible and there is also a range of bar snacks and packed lunches available. There are also some dedicated function rooms available for business conferences weddings and other special occasions. Despite its quiet location The Croft Hotel BW Signature Collection is only 8 minutes' drive from the center of Darlington 7 minutes from the A1 and 15 minutes from Teesside International Airport. Popular nearby attractions include Croft Circuit which is only a 6-minute drive away. Darlington Railway Museum is 5 miles away while Richmond Castle is 10.6 miles away from The Croft Hotel BW Signature Collection.

Awful, want a refund or...

Liked: Nothing!!
Disliked: The heating didn’t work, so it was freezing cold(-3 at night).No hot water, so couldn’t have shower,Uncomfortable bed, didn’t sleep great.But by far the worst thing was the constant boom, boom, boom from the music been played in the pub all day and night. Couldn’t relax or try to sleep until it stopped at around 11-30pm. Would like a refund please!!!

Nice hotel but don't spend...

Liked: Hotel breakfast (and the server) was excellent!
Disliked: Having paid over £150 for a 'Suite' we were bitterly disappointed with the room which was extremely tired. Other than having a two seater sofa we struggled to understand how the room could be classed as a 'suite' - wires hung from the back of the TV, the net curtains desperately needed repairing and washing (or simply replacing), the wall had a nasty crack in it and the shower had seen better days

Excellent Stay

Liked: Attended a Wedding so booked an overnight stay.We were given the opportunity by Booking.com to upgrade and we are so pleased that we did.
Disliked: Slight inconvenience,but not a complaint - Traffic Noise via our superb Garden Suite Ground Floor room.
