Great staff and good breakfast.
Liked: Let me check in early. Extremely comfortable bed and a nice big room.
Disliked: Dated rooms and wasn’t very well cleaned. Also a plastic strip was just lying on the floor when I went in for the first time. Fell off the wall.

Horrible. Never going back. Take...
Liked: Absolutely nothing.
Disliked: Absolutely everything. I will never ever stay at a Best Western again. We were horribly woken up by the loudest drilling I’ve ever heard in the room above us. We were told that they were under renovations, yet no one informed us. Why on earth would they book rooms DIRECTLY UNDER active renovations?! When I complained, we were treated as though it was OUR problem. Zero customer service. Zero compassion. I would suggest you remove them from the booking.com platform altogether. It’s clear that they’re being run by criminals.

Janky, but clean and not...
Liked: Honestly the breakfast is carrying this place on its back. There's a large standard breakfast buffet each morning with meats, eggs, potatoes, oatmeal and cereals with toppings, parfait station, different bread options, waffle bar, juices and coffee/tea/hot chocolate station. The staff working this area are great too, always cleaning up and keeping everything stocked. This was probably the highlight of the stay. The hotel is only about a 5-10min walk away from the c-train which was pretty convenient. There is also some good restaurants, grocery and coffee shops within a walkable distance. The price was pretty good for the location and overall product.
Disliked: Unfortunately a lot of things. We stayed mid November so temps were around freezing, and you could tell if you opened the blinds. The windows have no insulation and are letting in so much cold air you have to keep the black out drapes drawn and the heat on constantly. The heater was also pretty noisy and would make some sketchy noises. When it would kick on in the middle of the night, it created a knocking noise which sounds like someone trying to get into your room. There is a sign under the light switch in the bathroom which refers to there being a fan which runs when you turn on the light, we never heard the fan kick in and there isn't a separate switch for this. The tub has jets but do not look like they have been cleaned and had mold on them. When using the shower, if you put the hot water tap too far over it would make a sound similar to that of a jack hammer coming from the pipes in the wall. The kitchenette had a mini fridge, microwave and sink. There was pans but no stove or hot plate, which kinda defeats the purpose of having a whole additional kitchen area. I found the pillows to not be very firm and would be nice if they could have another pillow or two in the closet. The room seemed dated, but they did have ads saying they would be remodeling.Important to note, the room itself aside from the tub was clean. So if you are okay with some things being a little jank, but close to everything you wanna be and save some cash, then this place is fine.
