Best Western Plus Silverdale Beach Hotel, Silverdale

I thought that the staff was great. My room was comfortable.

Liked: Friendly staff.

Many website stated free breakfast, but there wasn't one. The rooms were very dated; the heat didn't work; the bed was as hard as a rock; none of our channels worked. We did have a view of the water and the lighted town tree! The staff was very kind.

Liked: Nice front desk staff.
Disliked: Heat didn't work; hard bed; no free breakfast as stated.

The rooms were wonderful; the staff was fantastic. I couldn't believe that we got charged $11 for 'services' that we didn't use - just a general service charge. It put a kink in my feel about the hotel. I would rather that they increase the rate, rather than hitting me with that fee when I walked in the door.

Liked: Excellent staff; excellent room etc.
Disliked: General Service Charge.

Very good

Liked: Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Location ideal. Appreciated that breakfast and dinner were available at the hotel.

Exceptional

Liked: We were mainly there to let the kids swim, and we all loved the breakfast buffet
Disliked: The only downside was the hot tub was not working

Disappointing

Liked: The breakfast and the 2 hosts which were helping to make as much as possible feeling home were awesome, such friendliness and happy smile in the morning! That was probably the best (but only) reason to come back.
Disliked: I was contacted several times by (automated) mails declaring how much the hotel will welcome us and appreciate our stay...! No words at all to the ammenities which were out of service (where our kids was focussing on): The Pool was completely out of order and the gym was without air conditioning with full glass wall which couldn't be opened... The balconies were nice but not a chair (or table) to sit and enjoy the view. The hotel was definetly ok but not for that amount of money and there wasn't any offer or excuse for all those negatives from the management.

Liked: The staff on the phone as well as in person were exceptional they could teach others how to deal with the public.
Disliked: The bed was very very comfortable but it would have been nice to have extra blankets in the closet to use if needed I felt like I was just under a sheet which made it hard to get comfortable. Also would like to have had something in the room letting us know what was around the area IE: restaurants, places of interest.

Worst stay ever

Liked: The breakfast was not bad. Ocean view
Disliked: We chose this hotel because they have a hottab. It was out of order. The pool was way too cold to swim. The hotel has a thin wall, so I could hear neighbors. We couldn't sleep because people stayed top of us were so oud. The hotel is so old, it needs the major renovation. The receptionist was not nice either. It was our anniversary trip, but we were so disappointed to stay there.
