Liked: The rates were good.
Disliked: The front desk assigned our room to someone else and while we were sleeping someone walked into our room. It was very scary for my children and wife. They couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. The room was also dirty. The front office made the error and didn't offer any compensation at all.

Liked: Good location
Disliked: The desk clerk was rude and my room had a sofa bed for my grandson and it needed a comforter so I ask for one and he kept talking to someone on his phone or in the back room then kept asking me about my pet fees and I said I paid for them and they are in the other room my room was not the pet room.

Liked: There was a side entrance that made it easier for me to park and get inside quickly. It was raining and I am disabled and therefore was doing everything I could to get inside quickly without getting soaked.
Disliked: The staff on duty didn't even know the documentation that they had in the room. The details clearly stated 2 free bottles of water per room but they wanted to argue saying that was for certain guests (which was not indicated). I had to go back to my room get the document and prove it to the staff.

It was as expected.

Liked: Comfortable, clean and nice breakfast.
Disliked: Hard to understand front desk person.

Awful - go ANYWHERE else...

Liked: Location to highway as a stop on a long journey
Disliked: Checkin person didn’t understand Booking dot com bookings and charged me again for an already fully paid booking, shown to her upon my checkin. When I saw that the “incidentals” she said she was putting on my credit card was actually another full night's fee, I queried it - I had obviously woken her - she was yawning, rubbing her eyes and was visibly annoyed. I showed her again that I’d paid in full before arriving and that the credit card showed the payment, then I showed her the second charge. She argued saying it’s my fault I booked through a third party app and not directly through her. So ignorant!!! The ONLY reason I’d booking at all was because of the app. I reiterated that I am not paying twice for the room, I want a refund of the second charge. She got angry, told me that if I don’t like it I must leave, I said I’d gladly leave after she returned both charges to my credit card (my thoughts were: even at that late hour and after a full days journey I would rather drive through the night than endure her abusive treatment any further), she stormed off into a back room and slammed the door while telling me I am disrespecting her!!! She accused me of the very thing SHE was busy doing TO me. A ploy uneducated people with huge chips on their shoulder use to divert from their bad behavior. I was not backing down because I will not pay 2X for a single booking. So I raised my voice so that she could hear me even through the slammed door and reiterated that I want my money back for the second charge or for both payments if she’s going to kick my out. Only then did she call the manager by phone and on that call I heard her complain that there were “a few bookings complaining about being charged 2x for their room” We were not the only ones she’d done this to that night yet she still believed she was not in the wrong, we were! Besides the rude staff, towels were not clean!
