Best Western Plus Regency Inn and Conference Centre, Abbotsford

Great staff; quiet room; excellent, free, hot breakfast!

Exceptional

I came up from Bellingham...

Liked: The location to the various ice rinks was great and the main roads were good for getting around and the freeway was just so handy
Disliked: The room I had 427 was the noisiest room ever! Right next to the laundry room and ice machine and close by the breakfast room where people sat talking into the evening and not in the main building I guess this room was the punishment for me checking in early

Good for just a place...

Liked: Very easy to find off the HWY, and the Ricky’s restaurant accross the parking lot was some of the best food I’ve had. The hotel itself seemed quite clean, some improvements could be made for sure however each staff member we interacted with were very pleasant.
Disliked: We had a two queen bed room, the room upon entry was clean. However the A/C unit was broken so the room was quite warm all night. The window only opened about three inches so it didn’t help much for air flow. The bed we slept on was quite hard and was starting to get the canyon in the centre. Which made for a not so great sleep. The elevator is so tiny once you have the trolly with your belongings on it in there there is room for max of two people, also it wasn’t that clean. The fitness facilities was in a room the size of a bathroom. So crammed there was pretty well no way more than two people at most could be in there. The pool / hot tub I can not comment on as we did not use either. There were too many people in the room when we went to go and it would’ve been soo congested.

Disappointing

Liked: the pool was not safe to swim in should have been shut down so very disappointed

This is a very nice...

Liked: Pool was warm, jacuzzi was decently hot, (jets were mediocre) nice change rooms and shower were clean. The breakfast room was very clean, friendly staff, with LOTS of selection, hot food was decent, a little dry but way better than a continental, and the reason I have stayed at this hotel before and why I booked again this time.
Disliked: I booked online and then wanted to come a day early and they wouldn't match the booking special price but it wasn't too much more so it was okay.

Clean, probably recently renovated hotel...

Liked: Especially the breakfast was exceptionally good, very complete

Start Your Trip Relaxed

Liked: Slept Super well - a great way to start a trip to the airport. Had an earlier flight and didn't want to drive down in the snow at 5am, and now I don't start the trip home for the holidays tired. Nice place to stay literally 10mins max to Abbotsford airport. There's a Ricky's in the parking lot of the hotel for a good convenient evening meal as well.Breakfast was really good, so with the airlines cheeping out on inflight food I still arrived with a full belly!! Nice friendly staff as well.
Disliked: It was really good all around - no complaints at all.
