Good for an overnight stay

Liked: location was excellent, the room was a little dated but the beds were comfortable. The room was very large for three adults and was suitable for 1 overnight stay. Plenty of parking but dont forget to register your vehicle or you get a penalty charge notice. Very close to Manchester airport and Jet Parks 3.
Disliked: The breakfast charge of £15 per person was very expensive and we noticed the dining room was empty. We managed to get breakfast at 8am from a local bakery for £7 and enough food so we didnt need to eat until 6pm. There was mould on the net curtains and the windows were drafty and full of condensation. Only one radiator was working, the shower was very dated and you could only get scaulding water or freezing cold water, there was no inbetween. Once on the 2nd floor to get to our room there was a few steps to get to the room that was awkward with suitcases as some of the housekeeping staff was still making up rooms when we arrived just after 3pm.

Liked: Visiting family nearby good location Hotel staff friendly but not a lot of staff around.Rooms are clean and comfortable, Have used this hotel a lot in the last 8 years ideal for short stays
Disliked: Breakfast buffet style no longer any service no much choice unless you like full English tea and coffee from machine, Had to wait for everything to be topped up at the buffet. The hotel used to bring tea or coffee in pots with cups and saucers now it’s a gab your self a mug when there’s one available.
