Best Western Plus Peoria, East Peoria

Served our purpose. In town for one night. Room was very clean and bed was comfy.

Liked: Clean. Comfy bed.
Disliked: Location is behind an industrial area.

I booked it online as a gift to my mother to attend Dancing With The Stars Live Tour in Peoria, IL. The hotel was very clean, the staff was exceptionally kind, and the free breakfast was awesome. The pool was heated for my daughter to swim. The shuttle service to the Peoria Civic Center was free and very clean and warm. The driver, Beth, was very personable and informative on our drive. She waited past her shift of 10:00pm to come and pick us up after the show so we did not have to take a cab. She was the BEST! She also had to work the desk at 7:00am the next day, so it was greatly appreciated! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Peoria!

Decent hotel stay

Liked: The beds were comfortable, and the afternoon desk staff was phenomenal. Taylor was super nice and very helpful. On our last night the breakfast people were very nice as well.
Disliked: The front desk manager was extremely rude. I had gotten an email that I could check in at 2 pm, which I wanted to do because I had an event to go to and didn't want my luggage in the car. I showed her my email and she said corporate would never send it, and said my room wasn't ready. However, She let 2 families in front of me check in. I could hear her on the phone with her boss and I heard her say it was because someone gave me a free upgrade, which was very nice of them. However, I just wish she would of been nicer to us. She also was arguing with staff the next morning during breakfast which was very unprofessional. The pool was dirty and had so many chemicals in it I could barely see the bottom and once I got in I started itching from all the chemicals.

Liked: Good breakfast - better than most at this level.
Disliked: Handicap floor rooms on ground floor - noise level in the early AM was bad out in the halls. I would imagine it was staff preparing things but can’t confirm. Didn’t get much sleep at all from the noise in the halls.

Disliked: I understand they were busy and the check in time is at 3pm. I have been to many hotels and all of them allowed me to check in a couple hours early.
