Disliked: Breakfast terrible (gravy icky), doorknob on bathroom broken.

Liked: Complementary breakfast in the morning, along with the coffee was all nice. The staff were friendly.
Disliked: When I walked across the carpeting in my white socks and came back to the bed, the bottom of my socks were absolutely black. The carpeting was not clean. I also noticed that the ceiling had a lot of black spots on it. I was worried that it may have been black mold. I didn’t notice it until the last day we were there. the hotel was generally quiet. The cleaning staff were very nice to us as well as the front desk. We tried to get the TV remote replaced, but nobody knew how to program it. It did not work well. If we come to Newport News again, we will probably skip this place then go someplace a little nicer.

We will not be back.

Disliked: The lobby wasn’t bad, but the rooms were disgusting! They looked like they have not been cleaned in weeks. There was black mold growing on the wall in the bathroom. We stayed here 2 years ago and it was nothing like this!
